After graduating with an MA (Hons) from Edinburgh University, George started his career as an investment banker, working for 10 years in corporate finance for Chemical Bank and Charterhouse Bank. Thereafter he worked in the film business for 2 years as head of finance for J&M Entertainment, before co-founding the Interquest Group plc, an IT staffing group, in 1990, where he was Finance Director until the group's flotation on the London Stock Exchange in 2005. Since then he was worked with Crossover Capital, participating the company's film funds and investments into India and Turkey. He has also been active property investor in Portugal, where he developed a 5 star boutique resort, and in London.
