David has served as a founder, investor, and senior executive for both successful startups and major multinationals. He has a long association with India and deep relationships in the country, having set up CNN in India for Turner Broadcasting from 1992-94, and more recently through Xlantic Group (a media group specializing in event management and the production and marketing of music, film and video) having produced two number one albums in India, selling over a million copies. He was previously Managing Director of MySpace and Fox Interactive Media in Europe, responsible for launching MySpace in seven geographical markets, making it Europe's largest social network, and building sister site IGN into the #1 gaming portal in the UK |
